MAXIMISING YOUR HARDWORK 1

Success and everything that comes with it is predicated on two dimensions of Diligence: 

The first dimension is Hard work but the second dimension is even more work than the first...I call it "Passive" Work. 

Passive work is that effort required to sustain the belief in the existence of an outcome long before its physical manifestation. 

When you work hard, you are not trying to make it...No! You have made it already. What you claim to be seeking is already in your possession. 

So, why then do we work? We are working so as to GROW into it. The Child of a King has everything already but because he is still a child, he can't drive the Bentley. It is not because the Bentley isn't in the Palace but he hasn't grown enough to earn its availability. 

The more certain you are about what you are supposedly seeking, the more determined you will be to GROW-UP (giving it all it takes) to earn its availability to you. 

Those who give up aren't certain enough, they have a poor Passive work ethic. 

Which is easier: To look for something that doesn't exist or to look for something that exists already? So, if you believe it exists what's stopping you? You simply don't believe it exists that's all. 

It's your Passive work that empowers your Hard work to produce. 

"He that seeketh, findeth" (Matt. 7:7-8). 

It is a guarantee because it was existing before you thought about seeking it; but if you are not Certain it is available you will be discouraged. 

It's time to be certain about the things you are Working Hard for? 

Build Your Passive Work ethics.

November Theme

Dear Friend, 

Congratulations and welcome to a brand new month; it doesn't matter where you have been or what issues you have got. If you are alive today and you are still breathing at this very moment you should be grateful. 

I'm doing this broadcast today because we are kicking off WIN Series tomorrow, but we also understand it is important for us to establish the theme for the new month irrespective of WIN series. 

Jesus established a very profound principle when he said in Mark 9:23 

"...ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE to him that believeth..."

Diligence is the Vehicle that can take you to your destination but BELIEVING is the oil that keeps the engine alive. Without the engine the oil is useless and without the oil, the engine will knock. 

All men work hard, but only a few men back that Hard-work with "BELIEVING" hence, only a few achieve the results they desire.

THE ACHIEVER'S EDGE

At the root of every great accomplishment, is vision. Vision in this context implies one's ability to see (in their mind's eyes) the reality of their undertaking even before the pursuit begins. 

 

However between vision and the accomplishment of such great undertaking is PURSUIT. No one ever features in a future he/she is unwilling to pursue. Until pursuit is embarked upon, every vision becomes a fairytale. 

You will agree with me that not everyone who embarks on a pursuit gets through to the end. Some drop off by the way side due to personal circumstances and others probably just discovered the demands of the pursuit are greater than what they first assumed. 

What then is the achievers edge?

Achievers behave (walk, talk and act consciously) like 'it'.

Every achiever behaves his/her set goal/dream even before achieving them. They carry themselves like it is already in full manifestation.  It is this characteristic that empowers a successful pursuit. How? 

They are already at the end (in their minds eyes), hence committing to the demands of the pursuit becomes "easy" to them. 

It is easier to pursue what we see and the only proof we see it, will show in our behaving the end. Explaining the end is no proof you see it...writing it on your dream wall is no proof...BEHAVING "IT" is the only proof that you are already in synchronization with it. 

Jesus at age 12, was behaving what he will be 18 years later "HIS FATHER'S BUSINESS".He was behaving his future for 18 solid years before he eventually became it.  Lk. 2:42, 49.

David saw his victory over Goliath, all he cared about was the benefit that comes after the victory. As far as he was concerned, Goliath was already dead. 1 Sam. 17:26-27, 30. 

Hannah haven prayed earnestly about having a child...suddenly changed her countenance (behaving the answers to her prayer even before it came).  1 Sam. 1:18

What are you pursuing? What is that goal/dream/career objective that looks mega? It's time to see yourself walking in its reality. 

Your pursuit is only as good as the quality of your behaving the end. 

Do you desire healing? Start speaking and behaving like the healed.

Do you desire Financial breakthrough? Start behaving like one who has already broken through. Those who have broken through carry a giving mentality not a receiving mentality. It's time to change. 

Do you desire a peaceful home? Let it show in how you treat your spouse and children. Treat your spouse honourably without minding how they treat you, Why? Because you are seeing them in the future state and so ignore their current short comings. Bring their faults to them in respect and bury it after that moment FOREVER. 

When God sees you, he sees you in your future. He told Abram: 

...but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father (even if his present circumstance seems contrary) of many nations (not a family, not a clan, not a district, not even one nation) have I MADE (past perfect tense) thee. Gen. 17:5 

What did Abraham do? He started entertaining people on the street...he began to see himself as a father of NOT JUST his household but nations. Gen. 18:1-8.

It's time to start behaving your set goal. YOU WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME WHAT YOU BEHAVE. Bad habits don't jump on people, it starts by behavioural patterns, which now becomes a habit and later people say that is his/her character. 

WHEN YOU CONSISTENTLY BEHAVE IT, YOU WILL BECOME IT. 

Till when next you visit this blog, STOP EXPLAINING HOW DIFFICULT...AND START BEHAVING THE REALITY OF YOUR GOAL(S).

REDEFINING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE 3

Over the years, I have come to observe something very common with all great achievers; Prior to the belief system, the sacrifice, prior to the prayers and corresponding hard-work is the consciousness that...

I deserve this...I am eligible for this...

This is a consciousness they maintain irrespective of their background or current circumstance. 

It is true, 

"To him that knocketh, it shall be opened" Matt. 7:7-8

However, your sense of deservedness and eligibility determines the size and the quality of doors you knock on.

Let me say this....sometimes you can't afford to wait for society to validate your eligibility for greatness; you can't afford to wait for family, or loved ones. 

You need to determine your candidacy because in all fairness...you deserve whatsoever it is you desire. 

No body would have considered David, as a match to Goliath; no one would have promoted that sort of match, even his brothers were not in support...but David by himself promoted his title match against Goliath until king Saul sent for him. 

He was sold into slavery, became a chief steward in the house of a Politician, accused falsely and then ended up in prison...yet, Joseph's sense of "eligibility for greatness" was not lost. 

He still promoted himself and asked to be introduced to Pharaoh should the occasion arise. 

Until you consider yourself eligible...you won't be able. Ability goes where the "sense of eligibility" goes.

It is your sense of deservedness that guarantees your reservation. 

Stop dying in self pity and self condemnation. You messed up... so what? 

Get back up...Try again!

Only those with Top self esteem make it to the top...and you can guess where low self esteem will end you.

I don't care how many rejections you have had...you didn't lose anything, they just missed their opportunity to partner with your greatness. 

If your situation must turn around, then, I need you to believe you are worth that new level.

UP YOUR PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS: DEMAND DYNAMICS 1

The expectations we have about ourselves and our abilities will always determine how much we will accomplish in life.

When you tell a consumer, "this product is Versace" the consumer knows what to expect. When you tell a Gadget enthusiast, "this Laptop is an Apple product" there is an expectation. These customers will buy these products and immediately begin to place functional demands on the Product. 

Now, you are a Product from God...I mean you were originally designed in heaven by God and Packaged  to come via your parents; if you so believe in a man made product, why can't you believe in a God-made Product?

Let me show you the uniqueness of this Product called You:

1. "...for "You" have the mind of Christ..." 1 Corith. 2:16

2. "...God has not given "You" the spirit of fear...but of Power...and of a Sound Mind..." 2 Tim. 1:7

When will you start placing functional demands on your Mind? 

Friend, You are not a nobody...You were not created to just journey this earth without making a difference. The seal "God-Made" is a stronger brand than Versace, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. 

To have little dreams shows how much value you have placed on this God-Made brand - You. 

To place little or no demand on that "Sound Mind" of yours is you under-utilising the Manufacturer's product. 

Who else should make news headlines if not you?

Who else should be a blessing to this generation if not you?

It's time to believe in what God made, God made you...and he did not make a "failure". 

An Aircraft was made to Fly, but until you place the appropriate demand on its functionality, it will remain grounded.

EMPOWER YOUR LITTLE STEPS BY A POWERFUL THOUGHT LIFE

Success is not by accident, it is never a product of chance. We can set goals, write them down but until we start taking deliberate steps in the direction of achieving those goals, we might never walk in their reality.

Should you desire a change in any area of your life, THE FIRST SIMPLE STEP is to DELIBERATELY CHANGE YOUR THINKING about the situation, challenge or task.  Hold a possibility mentality...SAY TO YOURSELF, IT IS POSSIBLE! Why? The human brain only goes to generate ideas that are consistent with our mental state. The day you tell yourself, I CAN BE PHYSICALLY FIT; your brain will suddenly start generating potential ways of achieving the reality of that mental state. The same way, when someone decides to be suicidal, it is the brain that comes up with the possible ways to achieve such a thought.                                                                                                                                                        So we need to pay attention per time to our mental state. It will interest you to note that, situations do not bow down to big steps; situations bow (respond) to your mental state. 

Once you smash every opposition mentally, suddenly your small steps now looks like massive steps. The truth is, it was not about your steps but your mental state as at the time such small steps were taken.  

Joseph did not get out of the prison by a legal representative, No! He saw himself as a man meant for the palace and then he simply sent his CV ahead of him.

David without a sword told Goliath, 'I will cut off your neck (1 Sam. 17:46)' How? He saw Goliath's head on the floor (mental vision of the situation) even before he swung his sling. (1 Sam. 17:50-51)

The woman with the issue of blood did not have to see Jesus for a one-to-one counselling nor for personal prayers; '...for she said within herself...'(mental state) [Matt. 9:21]. Remembebr Prior to this time, no one had been healed that way, so 

your mental state does not have to conform to conventionally acceptable patterns

Not necessarily big steps but POWERFUL MENTAL STATES. I dare you today to change your mentality concerning what you desire to change and see how much results your seemingly small steps will deliver. It is your turn for a turn around.

What comes before a Thought? How do I sustain a continuous flow of Powerful Thoughts?

A thought is just like a Fruit from a tree...an Apple does not decide where it will spring up from. A Guava fruit, does not suddenly decide to show up on a Mango tree. 

The type of tree determines the type of fruit.

You need to decide who you want to become...Hold  on a second...I didn't say, validate...or justify whom you have always been...NO! From where you are now in life...make new decisions. 

As Trees come before Fruits...so...Personality precedes Thoughts. 

I tell young men...before you get into a relationship, decide what kind of partner you want to become...because if you don't circumstances would decide what kind of partner you will be. It takes only a thought to be abusive but it takes a PREDETERMINED decision TO BE SELF CONTROLLED to shut down the flow of abusive thoughts. 

Jesus said...

"No man puts a piece of NEW CLOTH unto an old garment...Neither do men put new wine into old bottles...but they put NEW WINE into NEW BOTTLES..." Matt. 9:16-17 KJV (paraphrase are author's). 

Who you are determines the type  and quality of thoughts you will attract. 

A lazy man always thinks of "sleeping", "wants to go on holidays and take breaks...even after achieving nothing" . 

Stop being a waster of resources and expect to become a serial entrepreneur. 

You can either carry-on with the way you have always been, by making irresponsible excuses for whom you have become over time...and still get frustrated for things not being better; or you decide to change into something Different and then you see different out comes. 

Indecision in itself is also a decision...so the question is...

What kind of fruit do you desire to see...what kind of Tree are you?

CHANGE INTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT 3

The real price for success is the determination to change who we are today for the prize we seek tomorrow. 

The truth is, you will have to confront and over come giants before you possess your Promise Land. You will meet your "Career/Business Goliath" before you will ascend your throne. There will be "Red-sea" like circumstances, wilderness phases and even Walls of Jericho delaying your entry into your Canaan.

However, I need you to understand, you can't afford to be chicken-hearted; you can't afford to be psychologically weak; you can't afford to return to that person you used to be...that person who complains, and always finds excuse for their lack of commitment to the process that is designed to make them successful. 

The days of saying "I have no one to help me" is over...it's time to get out there and help yourself. 

It's time for you to  Change...because the days ahead will even be tougher...and your weak mental attitude will do you no good. 

It's time to raise your personal standards...walk away from cool but unproductive friendships. It is time to build your capacity for the opportunities ahead of you. 

It doesn't matter what you might be going through right now...make that pain an advantage...don't let that pain be a setback, rather it should be a set-up for your take-off. 

If your supposed goal is not costing you an upward change in your personal character and values, you need to review how committed you are to pursuing that goal. 

It's your turn to achieve quality outcomes in your world...it's your turn to CHANGE INTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

CHANGE INTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT 2

Haven failed my UK Driving test four times within 12 weeks, my instructor said something as he began to prepare me for my fifth attempt; he said 

"on the day of the test, if you keep driving as a learner, you will return home as a learner but if you drive as a Licensed driver you will go home with your Full Drivers License". 

What was he asking of me...? Change...I needed to Change attitudinally into the person I wanted to become. 

Stop blaming everyone and everything around you for your current position. That is you...being the old you, playing the victim. This might not sound sweet but "the government IS NOT your problem, your employer IS NOT your problem, your pay cheque IS NOT the problem, your spouse/partner IS NOT the problem". 

The real problem is ME...yes...that's right! Stop expecting things to change when you are not willing to go through the crucible of change yourself. 

I don't care who might have hurt you in the past, you need to drop all of those anger, bitterness, resentment and hatred you have been nurturing all these years...it's a weight- DROP IT! Those whom you hold the grudge against are so free living whereas you are dying-DROP IT! 

Begin to see in you the person you aspire to become tomorrow, and start to mimic/rehearse that person today. 

Stop saying "those rich people"...excuse me, I thought you are one of them. Start saying "...We billionaire CEOs..."...yes! that's right! 

Do not let your current circumstance become your vision...NO! Make your prospect your vision from right where you are. 

Believe in what God made...God made you...and He did not make a failure!

SOW COURAGE 2

In this year...I need you to do yourself one simple favour and that is to begin to "KNOCK ON BIGGER DOORS". 

Whoever is behind those doors notwithstanding, the Protocols involved notwithstanding, your years of experience not withstanding, your account statement notwithstanding...make a decision to KNOCK ON BIGGER DOORS this year. 

Why BIGGER DOORS? 

Because THEY WILL eventually OPEN...if you knock courageously.

"...and to him that KNOCKeth...IT SHALL BE OPENED..." Matt. 7:7-8 (KJV paraphrase are author's)

David was only a shepherd boy but on seeing Goliath he decided TO KNOCK ON A BIGGER DOOR. [Used to be the hero among the sheep but now seeks to be the hero among humans by delivering them from their Predator].

Although still a prisoner, Joseph told Pharaoh's servant whom he met in Prison "when your position is restored-remember me"...[Used to work for a minister (Potiphar) but now desires to work for the Prime minister (Pharaoh)].

DO NOT LET YOUR current but temporary circumstance determine the size of the door you intend to knock. 

It's time to SOW COURAGE...Go KNOCK on some bigger doors...and by the way...

Who else should make it "bigger" this year if not you?

Lest I forget, some of those doors...as big as they are don't need knocking...THE ARE AUTOMATIC sliding doors...THEY OPEN on their own accord they only need to sense your move in their direction. 

                                    

How do I mean?...The prodigal son, only made a decision to return home and had his direction heading home...Guess what...miles away, his father sighted him...and the AUTOMATIC DOOR flung itself WIDE OPEN.
