THE POWER OF YOUR VISION: SELF CONCEPT 4

"...and all the men of Israel, when they saw the man (Goliath), fled from him, and were sore afraid..." 1 Sam. 17:24

What are you afraid of...and why are you afraid of it? 

Do not give up on a dream because of an expert or analyst opinion on the matter. 

It is very normal to be wary of things "society" has tagged "impossible". More so, when you appear to be inexperienced considering your age or supposed limitation in training and resources available to you. 

If you will amount to anything in life or in your pursuit, you must have to learn to see yourself differently. 

Learn to focus on the goal and not the statistics. 

Stop quoting the analyst...start reciting your own mission statement. 

The potential of your capacity can not be determined by some existing statistics. Everyone failed does not suggest you too will fail. 

"It is a widely held opinion" doesn't necessarily make it True. 

Don't give up on anything until you have made series of unsuccessful attempts. 

If you see challenges from the eyes of a non achiever, it is usually twice its original size. If you look at the same challenge from the eyes of an achiever, it is usually half its original size. 

But when you look at challenges from your own eyes...you tend not to see them, why? All you see is your goal.

Everyone saw Goliath, David saw the rewards taking out Goliath will fetch him.

FIRE FEAR 3

"...Faith comes by hearing..." Rom. 10:17 KJV

Whatever you continuously expose your self to, your mind will capture and store; and on the day of adversity, you will behave what is already stored up internally. 

Faith or fear don't just jump on you. As a matter of fact, your thought life is predominantly based on what you hear and see. 

What we think on is connected to what we continuously hear and see. What you scarcely hear, you will scarcely think about. 

Everyone was scared of Goliath, you know why? They knew (exposure) is profile. David's brain possibly had no data about Goliath, hence he could not process who Goliath was. However, he had stored up data about the Victories God had given him over the years...and that was what, he kept processing. 

If you want to live above fear, pay attention to what you hear. If the content doesn't inspire Faith...it will certainly inspire fear. 

What do you love to read? What do you love to hear?

If you want to keep your home...stop listening to stories about separation. It doesn't mean you don't care...it simply means...you care about your sanity. 

If you want to go into business...stop listening to stories of those who started but failed. It's not healthy for you. 

To maintain a fear free life...there are certain relationships and friendships that you might have to discontinue. 

Some friends are naturally fear-full, if you keep spending too much time with them...your courage will be compromised. 

Be not deceived..."fear-full" communications" will corrupt "courageous manners".

MAXIMISING YOUR HARDWORK 1

Success and everything that comes with it is predicated on two dimensions of Diligence: 

The first dimension is Hard work but the second dimension is even more work than the first...I call it "Passive" Work. 

Passive work is that effort required to sustain the belief in the existence of an outcome long before its physical manifestation. 

When you work hard, you are not trying to make it...No! You have made it already. What you claim to be seeking is already in your possession. 

So, why then do we work? We are working so as to GROW into it. The Child of a King has everything already but because he is still a child, he can't drive the Bentley. It is not because the Bentley isn't in the Palace but he hasn't grown enough to earn its availability. 

The more certain you are about what you are supposedly seeking, the more determined you will be to GROW-UP (giving it all it takes) to earn its availability to you. 

Those who give up aren't certain enough, they have a poor Passive work ethic. 

Which is easier: To look for something that doesn't exist or to look for something that exists already? So, if you believe it exists what's stopping you? You simply don't believe it exists that's all. 

It's your Passive work that empowers your Hard work to produce. 

"He that seeketh, findeth" (Matt. 7:7-8). 

It is a guarantee because it was existing before you thought about seeking it; but if you are not Certain it is available you will be discouraged. 

It's time to be certain about the things you are Working Hard for? 

Build Your Passive Work ethics.

November Theme

Dear Friend, 

Congratulations and welcome to a brand new month; it doesn't matter where you have been or what issues you have got. If you are alive today and you are still breathing at this very moment you should be grateful. 

I'm doing this broadcast today because we are kicking off WIN Series tomorrow, but we also understand it is important for us to establish the theme for the new month irrespective of WIN series. 

Jesus established a very profound principle when he said in Mark 9:23 

"...ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE to him that believeth..."

Diligence is the Vehicle that can take you to your destination but BELIEVING is the oil that keeps the engine alive. Without the engine the oil is useless and without the oil, the engine will knock. 

All men work hard, but only a few men back that Hard-work with "BELIEVING" hence, only a few achieve the results they desire.

THE ACHIEVER'S EDGE

At the root of every great accomplishment, is vision. Vision in this context implies one's ability to see (in their mind's eyes) the reality of their undertaking even before the pursuit begins. 

 

However between vision and the accomplishment of such great undertaking is PURSUIT. No one ever features in a future he/she is unwilling to pursue. Until pursuit is embarked upon, every vision becomes a fairytale. 

You will agree with me that not everyone who embarks on a pursuit gets through to the end. Some drop off by the way side due to personal circumstances and others probably just discovered the demands of the pursuit are greater than what they first assumed. 

What then is the achievers edge?

Achievers behave (walk, talk and act consciously) like 'it'.

Every achiever behaves his/her set goal/dream even before achieving them. They carry themselves like it is already in full manifestation.  It is this characteristic that empowers a successful pursuit. How? 

They are already at the end (in their minds eyes), hence committing to the demands of the pursuit becomes "easy" to them. 

It is easier to pursue what we see and the only proof we see it, will show in our behaving the end. Explaining the end is no proof you see it...writing it on your dream wall is no proof...BEHAVING "IT" is the only proof that you are already in synchronization with it. 

Jesus at age 12, was behaving what he will be 18 years later "HIS FATHER'S BUSINESS".He was behaving his future for 18 solid years before he eventually became it.  Lk. 2:42, 49.

David saw his victory over Goliath, all he cared about was the benefit that comes after the victory. As far as he was concerned, Goliath was already dead. 1 Sam. 17:26-27, 30. 

Hannah haven prayed earnestly about having a child...suddenly changed her countenance (behaving the answers to her prayer even before it came).  1 Sam. 1:18

What are you pursuing? What is that goal/dream/career objective that looks mega? It's time to see yourself walking in its reality. 

Your pursuit is only as good as the quality of your behaving the end. 

Do you desire healing? Start speaking and behaving like the healed.

Do you desire Financial breakthrough? Start behaving like one who has already broken through. Those who have broken through carry a giving mentality not a receiving mentality. It's time to change. 

Do you desire a peaceful home? Let it show in how you treat your spouse and children. Treat your spouse honourably without minding how they treat you, Why? Because you are seeing them in the future state and so ignore their current short comings. Bring their faults to them in respect and bury it after that moment FOREVER. 

When God sees you, he sees you in your future. He told Abram: 

...but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father (even if his present circumstance seems contrary) of many nations (not a family, not a clan, not a district, not even one nation) have I MADE (past perfect tense) thee. Gen. 17:5 

What did Abraham do? He started entertaining people on the street...he began to see himself as a father of NOT JUST his household but nations. Gen. 18:1-8.

It's time to start behaving your set goal. YOU WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME WHAT YOU BEHAVE. Bad habits don't jump on people, it starts by behavioural patterns, which now becomes a habit and later people say that is his/her character. 

WHEN YOU CONSISTENTLY BEHAVE IT, YOU WILL BECOME IT. 

Till when next you visit this blog, STOP EXPLAINING HOW DIFFICULT...AND START BEHAVING THE REALITY OF YOUR GOAL(S).

REDEFINING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE 2

The strength and complexity of any challenge is only as determined by the "goggles" from which you view them. 

[Goggles in this context refers to your paradigm/perspective about things]. 

A problem-magnifying "goggle" has only one function - to blow the size of situations and circumstances out of proportion. It so magnifies the  situation that over time it has a reverse effect on the assessment of your self image. 

So the bigger the situation appears, the smaller you appear to yourself. 

Another critical step to redefining your circumstance is to CHANGE YOUR PAIR OF GOGGLES. 

HOW YOU SEE a challenge is critical to how you will describe the challenge and will ultimately determine how you will approach the challenge. 

Perspective is Powerful. 

12 spies went to view Canaan, they all saw the same facts but viewed from 2 sets of Goggles: 

1. Problem-Magnifying Goggle (10 spies used this pair)

2. Problem-Miniaturising Goggle (Joshua and Caleb)

Ruth and Orpah were both widows - same circumstance. Naomi presented the same goggle (problem-magnifying) to the young widows to view their circumstance. Orpah bought it...and left, Ruth had a different set of goggles through which she viewed, hence she stayed. 

Be careful with whom you share your challenges with...some people are not counselors (age is not synonymous to Wisdom), some people are Problem-Magnifying goggles personified. 

So, what is your challenge? What pair of goggles are you looking through? 

Have you ever heard or used the expression "I'm just being REAL here"? 

The only REAL definition of a  situation is the definition that empowers you to solve it. 

Everyone saw a woman who had committed adultery..."the biggest of sins" - religiously speaking; Jesus saw everyone as equal sinners - EQUATING ALL SINS as the same. 

Their perspective was to kill a life, Jesus' perspective was to save all lives. 

Depression is you seeing your situation deeper than it actually is. 

Your Perspective...Your Choice.

REDEFINING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE 1

The strength or complexity of any challenge is only as described by you. 

Your challenge is not special, you called it special. Your situation is not impossible, you called it impossible. 

Someone is saying "but that was what the Consultant said"...A specialist verdict is only a professional opinion about the situation, you still have a choice to agree or not to agree with the Consultant. 

You see, to fully overcome any challenge, you need a Powerful Mental Stance against that challenge; I didn't say, harness resources or go and prepare for it...No! First of all...change your mental positioning about the problem. 

Your Mentality has to be switched to a frequency where you see the challenge from a height of 30,000 feet and the challenge is below you. When you operate at this realm mentally, your language is affected. You use a different set of Adjective to describe the situation. Infact, sometimes you no longer see it; and the best part of it is that, your creativity comes alive.

If you see your Challenge from your eye level...you will be overwhelmed by fear; when fear sets in, it paralyses your capacity to think creatively. 

Everybody saw a Giant in Goliath, David saw a bird. How do I know? You use slings and stones for birds not for giants. 

If you don't win Mentally, You can't win Physically. 

Whatever exists in your Mental space, will soon exist in your reality. 

You are not in lack because you lack money...you are in lack because lack exists in your Mentality. 

If victory must be guaranteed, your Mental Stance has to change.

PUT YOUR LIFE IN YOUR HANDS 4

It is true, you must have failed several times; it's true you are fed up already and you are considering quitting but how do you eventually become your dream after quitting?

I need you to know...that it is possible that your dreams can come through. It is possible to turn your life, business, family and every current but temporal situation around.

Let me tell you something you already know...

There are two kinds of people in the world...there are those who go about TALKING about opportunities and possibilities....there are those who are BUSY DOING something about the opportunities and possibilities. 

"What is possible will always be potential" but "what we do about what is possible is what makes what is possible, become a reality".
The woman with the issue of blood knew it was possible for her to be healed by Jesus...and she did something about that possibility. 

Don't try to tell me what you think is possible...show me by your actions...because what you do is the only proof, you believe in what you say is possible. 

If your circumstance must change, there is only one person responsible and that person is "You". 
It's time you take full responsibility for the current as well as the future outcomes of your life...because...the easiest way to become a "Nobody" is to do "Nothing".

EMPOWER YOUR LITTLE STEPS BY A POWERFUL THOUGHT LIFE

Success is not by accident, it is never a product of chance. We can set goals, write them down but until we start taking deliberate steps in the direction of achieving those goals, we might never walk in their reality.

Should you desire a change in any area of your life, THE FIRST SIMPLE STEP is to DELIBERATELY CHANGE YOUR THINKING about the situation, challenge or task.  Hold a possibility mentality...SAY TO YOURSELF, IT IS POSSIBLE! Why? The human brain only goes to generate ideas that are consistent with our mental state. The day you tell yourself, I CAN BE PHYSICALLY FIT; your brain will suddenly start generating potential ways of achieving the reality of that mental state. The same way, when someone decides to be suicidal, it is the brain that comes up with the possible ways to achieve such a thought.                                                                                                                                                        So we need to pay attention per time to our mental state. It will interest you to note that, situations do not bow down to big steps; situations bow (respond) to your mental state. 

Once you smash every opposition mentally, suddenly your small steps now looks like massive steps. The truth is, it was not about your steps but your mental state as at the time such small steps were taken.  

Joseph did not get out of the prison by a legal representative, No! He saw himself as a man meant for the palace and then he simply sent his CV ahead of him.

David without a sword told Goliath, 'I will cut off your neck (1 Sam. 17:46)' How? He saw Goliath's head on the floor (mental vision of the situation) even before he swung his sling. (1 Sam. 17:50-51)

The woman with the issue of blood did not have to see Jesus for a one-to-one counselling nor for personal prayers; '...for she said within herself...'(mental state) [Matt. 9:21]. Remembebr Prior to this time, no one had been healed that way, so 

your mental state does not have to conform to conventionally acceptable patterns

Not necessarily big steps but POWERFUL MENTAL STATES. I dare you today to change your mentality concerning what you desire to change and see how much results your seemingly small steps will deliver. It is your turn for a turn around.

WINNING BY POWERFUL THOUGHTS 4

A fundamental characteristic of a powerful thought is that it cuts through barriers. As a matter of fact it does not recognise the existence of barriers.

When David was before before Goliath, he didn't see Goliath, he saw 3 things:

1. He saw a bird (not a Giant)

2. He saw his Father's Household being free 

3. He saw how glorious it will be to become the son-in-law to King Saul

The woman with the issue of blood had a mammoth crowd to deal with, but her thought was so powerful..

1. From her thought realm she imagined the anointing of Jesus flowing through his garment. [Friends, it has never been heard or imagined before, she didn't have to be his disciple or a wife to one of his disciples...Her thinking was just powerful and God delivered her expectation]. 

2. She saw herself touching the garment, the crowd notwithstanding. 

It's important to state that..."in your mental realm you are never limited" however, our imaginations set our mental limits. 

What do I mean? 

Your mind cannot process whatever your imagination hasn't captured. If you have never SUSTAINED the imagination of yourself becoming an Olympic Gold medalist, your mind cannot process the "how to achieve". 

Until your thought jumps over the hurdle, your body cannot go over it, until you change position in your thoughts, your physical status remains the same. 

So far the outcomes and possibilities in your life is a true reflection of the power your thought life possesses; the good news is, you can step up your "thought voltage".  

The best and the easiest way to win in life, is to win in your arena; your mental frame is yours...practice winning there. Because the truth is what happens their usually becomes your reality. 

Behind what is called "Possible" is a thought...Behind what is called "Impossible" is also a thought. 

What are you thinking...How Powerful is that thought? 

If your goals are only achievable in a "Mega Horsepower Thought" realm...your "Kilovolts thoughts" won't deliver them.
