THE PATH TO GUARANTEED INCREASE

I do not seem to get this Maths question, the little girl said angrily. 

It is almost three months and the business is yet to pick, said James to Jane. 

I can see you have a story of what 'seem' not to be working which is currently making you feel discouraged. I have good news for you, because today will be the last day, you will ever be stuck on your task or dream. Let us see a very simple scripture to help:

''...I ASSURE you, most solemly I tell you. UNLESS a grain of wheat falls  into the earth and dies, it remains (just one grain; it never becomes more but lives) by itself alone; BUT IF IT DIES, IT PRODUCES many others and YIELDS A RICH HARVEST...'' John 12:24

Wow! Rich Harvest, now that is mouth watering, right?

1. Be TOTALLY IMMERSED (Fall into the earth):

Have you ever wondered at people who want to excel in a task but who do not want to give their all? Can you imaging how effective the grain of wheat will be, if it is partly immersed in the earth and partly outside? Would it yield a rich harvest?

How much of you is immersed into that assignment? How much are you sacrificing? Dear friends, I tell you, it will take a TOTALLY IMMERSED attitude towards our task before we would strike the core of our rich harvest.

2. Be numb to distractions (..and die..):

When Something is dead, it is no longer sensitive to what goes/happens around. How boring? Yes, but that is what it takes. When a student claim to be reading and they have got their eyes on the TV at the same time, can such a student make an 'A'? They might have the potential but if they do not apply themselves properly to their task, that potential will never be realised. It is time to be 'dead'. Stop distracting yourself. When you say you are going to work, ''go to work'', when you say you are going to the Library, please do study...leave the sports papers and the DVDs alone.

Why should you settle for less when you can have a rich harvest?

Every seed has a potential to becoming a forest, but until it is properly planted, it would never maximise its potential.

YOUR LIFE IS A SEED!

If you accidentally find yourself on the 3rd floor of a 7 storey building engulfed in a fire outbreak; what are some of the things that would come to your mind? 

Amongst alot of things...one thought will be so loud in your head "I DON'T EXPECT MYSELF TO DIE TODAY" and with such a thought, escape ideas will start flooding your mind. 

When you have LOW EXPECTATIONS of yourself, you will hardly push yourself; when you have HIGH EXPECTATIONS of yourself, you will amaze yourself.

In this new month we will be considering the theme, UP YOUR PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS.

Show me an Individual who is Driven, I will show you an Individual with High and Powerful Personal Expectations of Himself.

NO WEEKENDS 5

"The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest and have nothing". Pro. 20:4 (KJV).  

Anything that excuses you from being diligent today, will destroy your economic future tomorrow. I don't care if it is an inheritance gotten, a privileged upbringing, a loving parent, the weather, the Government of the nation where you reside, etc. 

If it excuses you from exerting yourself productively both physically and mentally, it will soon reduce you to a beggar.

Some people will tell you, "at your age, you should not be doing this"..."considering you are a Masters degree holder, you should not be working at such an establishment"...Friends ignore such counsels because soon, when you are in need..they will not be there for you...trust me...if you listen to them...soon you will be a beggar. 

I have one advice for you...you that think, you are over qualified for where you are today...

Whatsoever (Big, small, temporal, menial, casual, oil company, Government worker, hair stylist, barber, fashion designer, store keeper, painter, cleaner...job)...whatsoever (positive and value adding job)...whatsoever (your degrees and qualification notwithstanding) thy hand findeth to do, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT...Eccl. 9:10 (KJV paraphrase are author's). 

Stop being lazy...go out there and do something...go and get busy! Or else...soon...you will start to beg...look around you...take a careful look around...are you seriously happy with your finances? Those who advice you otherwise, when last did they send you money? 

For you spending hours online...burning useful cash on Data bundles...and yet you don't have a job, my prayer is you will lose your phone...so you can focus. How has Social Media helped you? What value has it added to you? How much are you earning and how much are you blowing on Data? 

Something might be cool...doesn't necessarily mean, it adds value to you. 

Before you start to beg with your swag...before...you start to blame everyone and everything...before it looks like you are under a curse...

Humble yourself now and tell yourself the truth!

INSIDE OUT

Have you ever thought? Where does the feathers of a bird come from? Life was designed in such a way that everything we would ever see on the surface of the earth must come from within. Child birth...from within, Trees come from underneath the soil (it does not grow from the top). 

 

Every material thing seen on the earth today, first started as an idea (from within) in someone's head. Somewhere along the line we missed it, because circumstances have forced us to think on the reverse. We now want to fix things from the surface...If anything is not working , it has nothing to do with what the present circumstance suggest, it has got everything to do with the unseen origin. 

YOU DO NOT KILL A TREE BY CUTTING OFF ITS BRANCHES, YOU KILL A TREE BY UP-ROOTING ITS ROOTS.

Everything you will ever experience in life, will come from your inside...and everything you are yet to experience in life is because you are yet to conceive it from within.

Children do not come from societies. No! You birth them. Societies do not put feather on birds, they grow from within! It is time to stop playing the blame game. Giving excuses for not being where you are supposed to be. Your success or happiness is entirely up to you...I dare you to start fixing your inside, start with your negative thought life and cultivate a positive mental attitude. Remember:

EVERY THOUGHT WILL PRODUCE ITS MATERIAL EQUIVALENT IN REALITY

Start dreaming afresh, start seeing your next level. I know you are in debt, I know your case looks impossible, I understand your CV is not what you desire it to be; I put it to you, if you dwell there, it ain't going to change either. It is time to create new things. See yourself above those challenges, see yourself coming out of debt, see yourself having the best of relationship and family life, see yourself getting married, etc.

IT COST NOTHING TO IMAGINE, WHY ARE YOU NOT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF IT?

Final note: Just like every expectant mother is mindful of her unborn baby, and will do everything to guard her baby, the same way you need to guard your vision (what you conceive of your life and circumstances) jealously. There will be distractions, oh yes! there will be. Why? The state of your bank account will affect your new thoughts of wealth, the fact that you have failed six times, will challenge your new success thought life on that professional exam...but you must not give up!

Hold that positivity firm enough on your inside and before long your present circumstance will run to catch up with your inner reality.

It is AS A MAN THINKETH IN HIS HEART...not as HIS CIRCUMSTANCE/SOCIETY SUGGESTS but as HE/SHE THINKETH.

 Average men work to produce fruit during harvest; Great men work to produce fruits all year round. 

Joseph didn't stand out because he made Egypt to profit during the days of plenty...No! Joseph stood out because he knew what it takes to be productive during 7 years of famine.

In today's world...when you build a ship or any automobile...it is tested in a "Test rig" before it is certified for use, but when Noah built his ark...there was no Laboratory, nor Rig for his ark to be tested...yet...it stood the storm for 40 days.

Friends, It's time to deploy yourself fully into your craft...because if you are giving just enough, there is coming a time...when 100% will become the new average.

Jacob was soooo good at his job, that he could literally determine what kind of offspring will be produced. 

They used to say...Isaac prospered in the days of famine...It's important to note that...in the days of famine, Isaac and his men dug wells...NOT WELL...WELLS...they produced their own water so they can sustain their crops. What you call Irrigation  today was first started by Isaac. Gen. 26:12-22. 

Let's put this in perspective: Abraham dug wells, the  Philistines seized it; Isaac dug AGAIN the wells: They dug the first well, it was seized; they dug the second well, it was also seized. By the end of the third well those who hated them knew they couldn't stop them. 

.

They dug those wells...manually, not with some digging or borehole technology. They dug those wells in the days of scarce rainfall (famine).

It's a shame without Technology, humanity was used to work ethics that out lived their existence...but these days, technology has heightened our laziness. 

Don't just "Dream Big"...but be ready and be willing to "Work Big".

EMPOWER YOUR LITTLE STEPS BY A POWERFUL THOUGHT LIFE

Success is not by accident, it is never a product of chance. We can set goals, write them down but until we start taking deliberate steps in the direction of achieving those goals, we might never walk in their reality.

Should you desire a change in any area of your life, THE FIRST SIMPLE STEP is to DELIBERATELY CHANGE YOUR THINKING about the situation, challenge or task.  Hold a possibility mentality...SAY TO YOURSELF, IT IS POSSIBLE! Why? The human brain only goes to generate ideas that are consistent with our mental state. The day you tell yourself, I CAN BE PHYSICALLY FIT; your brain will suddenly start generating potential ways of achieving the reality of that mental state. The same way, when someone decides to be suicidal, it is the brain that comes up with the possible ways to achieve such a thought.                                                                                                                                                        So we need to pay attention per time to our mental state. It will interest you to note that, situations do not bow down to big steps; situations bow (respond) to your mental state. 

Once you smash every opposition mentally, suddenly your small steps now looks like massive steps. The truth is, it was not about your steps but your mental state as at the time such small steps were taken.  

Joseph did not get out of the prison by a legal representative, No! He saw himself as a man meant for the palace and then he simply sent his CV ahead of him.

David without a sword told Goliath, 'I will cut off your neck (1 Sam. 17:46)' How? He saw Goliath's head on the floor (mental vision of the situation) even before he swung his sling. (1 Sam. 17:50-51)

The woman with the issue of blood did not have to see Jesus for a one-to-one counselling nor for personal prayers; '...for she said within herself...'(mental state) [Matt. 9:21]. Remembebr Prior to this time, no one had been healed that way, so 

your mental state does not have to conform to conventionally acceptable patterns

Not necessarily big steps but POWERFUL MENTAL STATES. I dare you today to change your mentality concerning what you desire to change and see how much results your seemingly small steps will deliver. It is your turn for a turn around.

Years ago, I read a book titled "AN ENEMY CALLED AVERAGE". 

Lately, I have come to conclude THE real ENEMY is not AVERAGE, because AVERAGE is just an output of some type of input. 

The real enemy is "HALF-HEARTED" Commitment. It's a commitment that doesn't stretch you.

A prophet died indebted and the creditors were to take his two sons as slaves: Elisha, the man of God asked the widow what she had? In her response, she said,  she had nothing but a jar of oil...Elisha gave her a specific instruction: 

"Go borrow...vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; BORROW NOT A FEW (Don't hold back..go all the way).." 2 Kings 4:3 (KJV Paraphrase are author's). 

Now, she did what was instructed, however, God could only fill as much vessels as she gathered. By the time the vessels were all filled, the miracle in the oil stopped. She sold them and paid off the debt of her dead husband.

WHAT IF SHE GAVE HER ALL and got twice or thrice as much vessels as she initially gathered? 

Friends, God CANNOT BLESS YOU BEYOND YOUR STRETCH. Elisha asked her to go beyond the vessels she had...He said "GO ABROAD","BORROW NOT A FEW". 

There is a deluge of Success coming your way...but it will demand a STRETCHED Commitment. 

Don't tell me "I believe I can make it to the top" until you tell me, how much you want to sacrifice: How much of your time, resources, sleep and comfort that you want to give up for your dream. 

Why waste valuable time in the name of "it's a weekend"? Let your Productive input to your goal go beyond week days. 

Ordinary men talk about "hours of input", Average men talk about "diligence" but men who reach out to the world talk "Sacrificial Commitment".

No one is to blame for your level of success!
