GO (ALL OUT) FOR IT

 Until you get to the point where you literally get out of your comfort zone, leaving your excuses and stories behind, leaving your inabilities and inadequacies and also leaving yourself behind and go all out in search of greatness, you will never get to it. 

Dear friends, may I impress it on your mind today, that greatness is a long way from home (your comfort zone). I hear you talk about it, I hear you always preparing for it, I hear you discuss it, when will you take your first step and be on the move? 

At the beginning of 2014, you said you will give up those lazy and 'do nothing friends', you said you will go out there and get yourself a job in line with your passion, you promised to work on your character, etc. It's the end of the year already, what exactly have you done? 

Let me show you how far you still have to go...

the day Moses brought Israel out of Egypt, was not the day, they arrived at Canaan. The red sea was just ahead, the wilderness was their next experience. 

The day Abraham left his father's house was not the day, he got the promise. He had to go through his testing phase, so as to sharpen him for what lies ahead.

The day David brought down the head of Goliath, was not the day he ascended the throne. He had to deal with the envy and bitterness of his boss, King Saul.   

I thought for the mere fact that Jesus got baptised and a voice came down from heaven to validate his assignment should have made everyone to believe on him...No, it didn't. 

But all of these great men would not have ascended their place in Destiny if they didn't dare to GO ALL OUT for it. 

Moses left his Palacios Pharoah's apartment to go in search of it. 

Abraham left his Daddy's mansion to go for it. 

David left his proximity to home just in case of trouble and came all the way to meet a battle he was not physically prepared for but couldn't afford to miss his chance BECAUSE HE KNEW EXACTLY what he was out for. You thought he went to give his brothers food, but this is what he had to say for himself when he got bullied.

'...Is there not a cause?' 1 Samuel 17:29

If he had delivered the food, shouldn't he have returned home...? He was on a search.

Jesus left Heaven, no wonder at his return (after 33 years) God gave him a name that is above every other name. 

Friends, I want to believe you can appreciate just how far greatness is away from your home (comfort zone). 

The question is WHEN WILL YOU BEGIN THIS JOURNEY?

Being average is so comfortable, but it is a prison. It's your turn, It's your time to leave the prison and comfort of average and respond to the call of greatness within you.

MAXIMISE YOUR LIFE

An Iroko tree will never grow half the size less than it was supposed to grow. Water bodies flow maximally, sometimes they so flow that they cause flooding. Think about time for just a second, it does not stop, I call it the dedicated workman. You can choose to party or go for funeral, work or sleep, make progress with your task or whine...TIME WILL NEVER STOP being TIME. 

For some strange reasons only human beings live life but not to its full potential; and to think we are the only creation that was made in the likeness of God, makes me even wonder more. Just imagine God's potential and imagine the potential of another being (you and I) created in His image? 

The question is ARE YOU MAXIMISING YOUR LIFE or are you living less than you were created for? 

If you die today, can we fully list out what's going down the grave with you? The things, you were too lazy to birth for the benefit of the world? The Industries? The Medical Centres? The Schools? The Businesses? The Books? Ideas that were never explored? etc. 

But the question is not when we die...the question is by the time you retire for the day, could you confidently say I fully unveiled my potential for today? 

YOUR GOALS FOR THE DAY IS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO FOR THE DAY, IT IS NOT NECESSARILY ALL THAT CAN BE ACHIEVED DURING THE DAY. This is where we start living less than our potential. 

Friends, it begins from now...empty yourself daily. Don't go to bed with daily potentials that were never maximised. Let me say this, PROCRASTINATION IS A MYTH...it doesn't exist. How? Every day has a potential, moving things forward (procrastinating) simply means you are living your yesterday in your today. There can only be one December 1st 2013, doing December 1st related business on December 2nd 2013, is you loosing one day of the month/your life. 

It's time to MAXIMISE YOUR LIFE!

No wonder 33 years OF STRAITENED LIFESTYLE is today still imparting the world after over 2000 years.

Dear Friend,

Congratulations and welcome to a brand new Month!

If you accidentally find yourself on the 3rd floor of a 7 storey building engulfed in a fire outbreak; what are some of the things that would come to your mind? 

Amongst alot of things...one thought will be so loud in your head "I DON'T EXPECT MYSELF TO DIE TODAY" and with such a thought, escape ideas will start flooding your mind. 

When you have LOW EXPECTATIONS of yourself, you will hardly push yourself; when you have HIGH EXPECTATIONS of yourself, you will amaze yourself.

In this new month we will be considering the theme, UP YOUR PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS.

Show me an Individual who is Driven, I will show you an Individual with High and Powerful Personal Expectations of Himself. 

Welcome to a brand new Month!

NO WEEKENDS 5

"The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest and have nothing". Pro. 20:4 (KJV).  

Anything that excuses you from being diligent today, will destroy your economic future tomorrow. I don't care if it is an inheritance gotten, a privileged upbringing, a loving parent, the weather, the Government of the nation where you reside, etc. 

If it excuses you from exerting yourself productively both physically and mentally, it will soon reduce you to a beggar.

Some people will tell you, "at your age, you should not be doing this"..."considering you are a Masters degree holder, you should not be working at such an establishment"...Friends ignore such counsels because soon, when you are in need..they will not be there for you...trust me...if you listen to them...soon you will be a beggar. 

I have one advice for you...you that think, you are over qualified for where you are today...

Whatsoever (Big, small, temporal, menial, casual, oil company, Government worker, hair stylist, barber, fashion designer, store keeper, painter, cleaner...job)...whatsoever (positive and value adding job)...whatsoever (your degrees and qualification notwithstanding) thy hand findeth to do, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT...Eccl. 9:10 (KJV paraphrase are author's). 

Stop being lazy...go out there and do something...go and get busy! Or else...soon...you will start to beg...look around you...take a careful look around...are you seriously happy with your finances? Those who advice you otherwise, when last did they send you money? 

For you spending hours online...burning useful cash on Data bundles...and yet you don't have a job, my prayer is you will lose your phone...so you can focus. How has Social Media helped you? What value has it added to you? How much are you earning and how much are you blowing on Data? 

Something might be cool...doesn't necessarily mean, it adds value to you. 

Before you start to beg with your swag...before...you start to blame everyone and everything...before it looks like you are under a curse...

Humble yourself now and tell yourself the truth!
