Just anyone can start a process but not everyone commits to the full demands of the process.
A wise man once said
"Successful people do daily what unsuccessful people do occasionally"
Behind every average achievement is also an average degree of commitment; behind every phenomenal achievement is a phenomenal degree of commitment.
A Project becomes suspended when commitment goes on vacation. A dream becomes a wish when commitment to its pursuit is absent.
In the school of Success, everyone begins the class but sooner or later, everyone's commitment begins to distinguish them from the rest of the class.
No one gets a prize for starting a race; neither does anyone earn a degree on the first day of a degree program.
What then is the currency for commitment?
Time.
Anyone who commits more time to practice will beat you to the game, your skill, talent or potential notwithstanding.
1. What are you working on at the moment?
2. What quality of outcome do you desire...average, outstanding or phenomenal?
3. How much DAILY time investment do you really think can produce that quality of outcome?
When you work out #3, then give TWICE AS MUCH DAILY; that's the true definition of going the extra mile.
"...whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain (double of what is asked)..." Matt. 5:41 (KJV, paraphrase are author's).
Do you really want to excel in all you do?
I will politely suggest...
Go the "extra mile".
You will not fail!
Good morning and Happy New Week!
